Discovering My Artistic Style: A Journey of Experimentation and Creativity
Art has been part of my life for as long as I can remember. As a child, I was always drawing, writing poetry, and finding creative ways to express myself. Looking back, creativity wasn't just a hobby—it was simply part of who I was.
My path wasn't a straight line into the art world. I first studied Political Science, fascinated by people, society, and the stories that shape us. Later, I pursued Graphic Design, where I developed an eye for composition, colour, typography, and visual storytelling. Although each discipline seemed different at the time, they all contributed to the artist I've become today.
Eventually, I discovered acrylic painting, and everything changed.
Like many artists, I didn't begin with the work you see today. I explored abstract art, landscape painting, portraits, and countless techniques, allowing curiosity to guide me rather than chasing perfection.
One of my earliest inspirations was Bob Ross. I could happily spend hours watching him paint peaceful landscapes, captivated by his calm voice and genuine love for art. He reminded me that creating didn't have to be complicated—it could simply be joyful.
As my passion grew, so did my curiosity. I immersed myself in the works of the Old Masters, studying classical composition, dramatic lighting, expressive portraiture, and timeless painting techniques. Every book, documentary, and museum visit taught me something new.
At the same time, I never stopped experimenting.
Colour became an obsession. I explored how different palettes changed the mood of a painting, how metallic accents interacted with light, and how texture could transform a flat canvas into something almost sculptural. That curiosity eventually led me to create my signature handcrafted 3D ornaments, blending acrylic painting with mixed media to add depth and character to every piece.
As technology evolved, so did my creative process. I began creating digital paintings, not as a replacement for traditional art, but as another medium to explore ideas. Today, I love experimenting with the intersection of traditional painting and digital creativity, combining my own artwork with AI-assisted imagery to develop new concepts, compositions, and visual stories before bringing them to life by hand.
Slowly, my own artistic voice emerged.
Today, my work combines acrylic painting, mixed media, handcrafted 3D embellishments, and digital art, inspired by mythology, gothic aesthetics, powerful women, wildlife, fantasy, and contemporary culture. Every original artwork is designed to tell a story while inviting viewers to discover new details with every glance.
Looking back, I'm grateful I never rushed the process. Discovering your own artistic style isn't about copying someone else's work—it's about staying curious, embracing experimentation, and allowing every experience to shape your creative voice.
My style wasn't found overnight. It was built through years of learning, exploring, and creating—one brushstroke at a time.
